Jose Marro A.K.A. Mezcalito was born in Mexico City, and since he was a little kid, his life was strongly influenced by music. By the year 2000 he discovered trance music, thanks to his mother, who gave him Juno Reactor's "Bible of Dreams". From this point, his interest for trance music became huge, and he went to many psy gatherings. As time passed, he felt that psychedelica was disappearing from the music of many of his favorite artists, but the darker side of psytrance was already part of him, so he decided to stay off the beaten track, concentrating directly on Dark-psy.
He started mixing in 2003, and in 2004 he met Cerebral Death and Ectick, playing vs. with both of them. He learned a lot from them and developed a nice mixing technique, playing pure dark music with strong basslines and trippy atmospheres.
He is also part of the Biomechanix team and is waiting to meet you on the dancefloor!
